- Create awareness and understanding of climate change and associated issues and activities related to reducing greenhouse gasses or adapting to climate change
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions within communities and contribute to the net-zero agenda for Edinburgh
-Generate sustainable projects for the benefit of local people to build resilience or adapt to climate change within communities

In this phase, an evaluation panel will review all proposals to make sure that they are feasible, legal and meet all the criteria for the project
All feasible projects will then proceed to the public vote
