This Grant aims to Support communities progress in the decarbonisation of households and net zero activity by encouraging discussion around climate change issues and providing grant funding for projects that would either:

• - Create awareness and understanding of climate change and associated issues and activities related to reducing greenhouse gasses or adapting to climate change
• - Reduce greenhouse gas emissions within communities and contribute to the net-zero agenda for Edinburgh
• -Generate sustainable projects for the benefit of local people to build  resilience or  adapt to climate change within communities

You should also download and complete the attached application form and upload in to the consul site when you make your application

Evaluating projects

November 23, 2022 - March 11, 2023

In this phase, an evaluation panel will review all proposals to make sure that they are feasible, legal and meet all the criteria for the project

All feasible projects will then proceed to the public vote

Counting the Votes

March 18, 2023 - June 29, 2023

Once voting has ended thevotes will betallied here. 

Votes from offline events will be tallied and veried and will be added to the online totals

The Successful Projects

June 30, 2023 - July 30, 2023

The winning projects will be published here
